'Running Dry' Appeal Meets with Success

We have great news to report: our recent urgent Appeal for funding to provide 650 VHS cassettes of AEFF's film 'Running Dry' to the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya to use in their Educational Resource Packs on Water Catchment has met with success.

Thanks to the generosity of Amara (UK), a conservation organisation which shares AEFF's goals and indeed whose Kenyan branch is an important distribution partner for AEFF in the Tsavo region, and of Viewfinders Ltd, a Kenyan film facilitation company which specializes in the field of documentary film-making, we are now able to ensure that the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya will have all the 1,000 copies of 'Running Dry' needed for their countrywide educational focus on water issues. (AEFF had already contributed 350 cassettes.)

We join the Wildlife Clubs in thanking Heidi Bergemann of Amara and Jean Hartley of Viewfinders for coming forward to help with this project. Watch this space for updates as the project progresses...
