The AEFF Team is currently formulating an ambitious plan, structured over the next five years and beyond.
The aim is to increase film production by increasing the number of permanent fulltime film crews, while dramatically expanding distribution within Africa and internationally through groundbreaking new ventures. These ventures include harnessing the power of the internet and modern satellite communications to create an intercontinental network, linking both films and people from across the world. The aim is to open up a whole new frontier in the provision of environmental education and opportunities in Africa, while simultaneously opening a window for the West on the realities faced day to day by people on this continent.
This expansion plan requires significant investment in expert personnel, with strong backgrounds in the environment, education, film production and administration respectively, as well as an investment in physical infrastructure. Laying a sound foundation at this stage through the astute selection of personnel and the carefully planned building of film production, administration and educational facilities will guarantee that AEFF’s important work can continue to expand exponentially for generations to come, and will continue to have a positive and lasting impact.
